Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and the Upper Cervical Spine

Neuro-degenerative disease like Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimers Disease, Parkinsons Disease are very debilitative diseases. They affect not only the person with the disease but also everyone that cares for them.  This is a fascinating talk by a medical doctor about the effect of the upper cervical spine, the brainstem and cerebral spinal fluid flow and how it affects these diseases.

Amazing to see that they all had a cervical spine injury and the onset of the disease was on average 11 years after the injury!!!

 This concept is one of the most frustrating parts of being a chiropractor. Trying to get across that maintaining the function of the nervous system is critical of disease prevention. The problem is you have no idea if you ever would have acquired a disease or not if you are under regular chiropractic care!!
